TRANSFORMATION OF THE PLAÇA DE L'ESGLÉSIA DE CAS CONCOS

The transformation of public spaces is, on many occasions, a way of caring for the memory of a people while building its future. In Cas Concos, that idea is already a reality. The renovation of Plaça de l'Església, one of the most representative enclaves of the urban center, has been completed, thus culminating an intervention long awaited by residents and visitors.

On September 10, coinciding with the festivities of Sant Nicolau de Tolentí, the first stone of this emblematic project promoted by the Felanitx City Council was laid. That act symbolized the beginning of a work called to renew one of the spaces with the greatest social, historical and symbolic value of Cas Concos. Today, with the work already completed, the square presents a new image, more functional, more accessible and better prepared to respond to the needs of citizens.

The project, drawn up by architects Jaume Alomar Sureda and Xavier Fontanet Adrover, from Misión 21 Arquitectos S.L.P., was awarded to Dosmas Grup, which has undertaken the execution of works of special relevance for the municipality. With a budget of 554,000 euros, financed with European funds, this action has made it possible to recover and dignify an essential space for the collective life of the town.

The intervention has meant much more than an aesthetic improvement. The new Plaça de l'Església has been conceived as an environment designed for meeting, coexistence and daily use, capable of hosting collective activities and reinforcing the social centrality of the place. All of this, from a respectful perspective on the identity of the environment and with the desire to preserve the historical character that defines this space so loved by the neighbors.

For Dosmas Grup, having carried out this work represents a new example of its commitment to public infrastructure that contributes to improving the quality of life of the towns of Mallorca. The reform of the Cas Concos square responds to a way of understanding construction based on responsibility, technical rigor and respect for the territory.

This performance unites tradition and modernity in the same project. On the one hand, it maintains the essence and heritage value of the place; On the other hand, it introduces an urban transformation that looks to the future from criteria of functionality, sustainability and integration. The result is a renovated space that will continue to be part of the life of the municipality for many years.

With the completion of this work, Dosmas Grup once again consolidates its position as a reference company in the execution of relevant public projects in Mallorca, providing experience, solvency and a clear vocation for service in each intervention.
